Since 26 February I have been a member of the Order of Engineers of the Province of Lecce, no. 4603, section A, information sector. Two international scientific papers on deep learning in agriculture (MDPI and Springer).

What guides me
Innovation is human
You can buy technology, not change: you build it with the people who will use the result.
Purpose first, technology second
I start from the innovation intent: once the why is clear, choosing the tools follows.
A grant is a means
I suggest a grant only if the project makes sense without it.
Measure, then improve
A few indicators agreed at the start and a check at the end, so we both know if it worked.

A network built over more than ten years across chambers of commerce, universities, ITS, local action groups and companies.

What does your UNI 11814 certification cover?
UNI 11814 is the Italian standard that defines the knowledge, skills, autonomy and responsibility of people who manage innovation. I am certified as Innovation Manager, the EQF level 7 profile that works with top management on strategy, the innovation management system and the project portfolio. My certificate, no. 38-M, was issued by Apave Italia CPM, a body accredited by Accredia, from 4 October 2023.
Were you listed in the Italian Ministry's register of innovation managers?
Yes. In 2019 I was listed in the register of innovation managers set up by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MISE, now MIMIT), no. 284. That register served the innovation consultancy voucher of 2019-2020 and can no longer be consulted. It is separate from the UNI 11814 certification.
Do you work alone or with a team?
I keep the relationship with you myself, from the first analysis to the close of the project. For technical work I rely on a project network I know well: developers, designers, cybersecurity experts, employment consultants and accountants. When a project needs websites, e-commerce or software I may propose Moviweb, where I am CIO: I tell you beforehand and the choice of supplier stays with you.
Where do you work, and can you work in English?
My base is Lecce, in Southern Italy, at via Cesare Abba 46. I work across Apulia and on projects elsewhere in Italy and in Europe, often remotely. I speak and write English at C1 level, so meetings, documents and reports can be in English. I support foreign companies investing in Southern Italy, but I do not have offices outside Italy.
