Agrimaggiore: digitalising a farming business with a Chamber of Commerce voucher
Agrimaggiore is a farming micro-business that chose to tackle digitalisation through a project funded by the Doppia Transizione call of the Chamber of Commerce, a voucher scheme that the Italian Chambers of Commerce use to fund the digital and green transition of small businesses. I followed the project as technical consultant and innovation manager. The planned grant arrived within the timeframe set by the call.

What you can learn from this case
A Chamber of Commerce voucher is a good tool for an initial digitalisation project: limited amounts and lighter procedures than the large regional calls. That is exactly why it needs careful preparation. A cost outside the eligible list or a non-traceable payment is enough to lose part of the grant. Frequently asked questions
Can't find your question? Write to me and I will answer.
What is the Doppia Transizione voucher?
‘Doppia Transizione’ (Double Transition) is a family of calls run by the Italian Chambers of Commerce. They fund, through non-repayable vouchers, digital and green transition projects of micro, small and medium-sized companies in their area. Each Chamber publishes its own call, with its own amounts, eligible costs and deadlines. The status of the Apulian calls is on innovationmanager.puglia.it (in Italian).
Can a farming business apply for Chamber of Commerce vouchers?
In many cases yes, if it is registered in the Companies Register of the Chamber publishing the call and meets the requirements of the notice. Some calls exclude specific sectors or aid regimes, so the text of each call must always be checked before applying.
